Scene 5
EXT – DAY- GRANDMA CELIA’S COMPOUND
CAST: Kama, Obase
Camera opens on Kama returning from farm with a bundle of firewood on his head. He drops them down, gets a bench as he seats down,and Cuts to Obase approaching with a bucket of water on his head looking very tired.

Obase: brother good aftyernoon
Kama: (dropping the water on the floor) Obase! Your welcome. I know you must be very tired. Don’t bother about fetching firewood
Obase: No brother! Grandma will kill me. I have to hurry now before she returns from the market.
Kama: Obase! I said don’t bother ok! Look! I have already fetched firewoods on your behalf and grandma won’t even know that I did ok? Now come. Let’s sit. (They both sit together on the bench.
Obase: but brother! Why does grandma hate me so much with passion? I’m not a witch. I didn’t create myself.
Kama: Obase, grandma does not hate you. She’s just trying to be disciplined but I guess she’s doing it too much. But don’t worry, I’m here and I’ll always be there for you okay.
Obase: thank you brother
Kama: Now go inside. I bought moimoi for you. Go and eat so we can wash the dishes together.
Obase: AH brother! Really! Thank you so much brother. Thank you (scene fades as he hurries inside)

Scene 6
EXT – DAY – PALACE
CAST: Prince Zed, King Zuba, Queen Sheda, Chief Zaga, Chief Eko, Kinsmen Extras, All guards and maids
Camera opens on the king, guards, maidens and kinsmen all arraigned accordingly as they lie in wait of the prince’s arrival. Cuts to a master shot revealing the gate and some characters as we hear a car horn and the gate clocks open by one of the guards. We see an SUV drive in and parks accordingly while the prince steps out of the car.

Prince Zed: My father the king of Zuma kingdom. I greet you your highness.
King Zuba: my great son, the prince and heir apparent to the throne of Zuma. You’re welcome to your motherland. (They both hug each other)
Prince Zed: My ever young, loving and caring mother, the queen of Zuma, greetings your majesty.
Queen Sheda: Come here boy (as they both hug each other) hmmmm! I missed missed you. Thank the gods you’re back.
Prince Zed: (greets everyone including the kinsmen accordingly)
King Zuba: shall we now go inside to celebrate your return (as they all move into the throne room exception of the guards).

Scene 7
EXT – DAY – PALACE
CAST: Maid 1 and 2, Queen Sheda, Maid 3 and 4
Camera opens on palace maid 1 sweeping a part of the compound and reveals maid 2 coming from behind with a mob stick and bucket of water.

Maid 2: (drops the mob and bucket of water as she beckons on maid 1) my dear! How did you see the event of last night?
Maid 1: I really enjoyed myself. That’s why I love our king! He knows how to treat his subjects well.
Maid 2: so did you notice anything? (Romantically)
Maid 1: anything like what?
Maid 2: like the way the prince was looking at me. (Rolls her eyes)
Maid 1: (laughs hysterically) look! My dear please wake up from your dream because the prince is not your type. And to shock you, he doesn’t even know you exist.
Maid: 2: jealousy! Let me tell you, I don’t want to see any of you close to my prince. Else……..
Queen Sheda: (interrupts) what is going on here?
Maid 1: Your majesty
Maid 2: your majesty
Queen Sheda: (to maid 2) you! Are you not supposed to be on your duty post, cleaning the interior parts of the palace?
Maid 2: yes your highness!
Queen Sheda: so what are you still doing here my friend move with immediate effect
Maid 2: yes your majesty (hurries away while maid 1 laughs hysterically)
Queen Sheda: And you! What’s funny? Will you get back to work (scene fades).

Scene 8
EXT – DAY – CELIA’S COMPOUND
CAST: Cefa, Obase, Celia
Camera opens on Cefa, Celia’s childhood friend approaching Celia’s door as she beckons on the family
Cefa: Hello! Is anybody home? Hello?
Obase: (coming out from the backyard and looking so un-kept) Good afternoon ma’am
Cefa: good afternoon my child. How are you?
Celia: (bashing out of the house) He’s fine as you can see (throws a horrible look at obase as he hurries into the backyard wearing a sad countenance) Ah! My dear friend you’re welcome!
Cefa: Thank you my dear. How are you?
Celia: I’m fine ooooo! Where’s this boy? (Shouts out to obase) Obase! Obase!
Obase: (answering from behind) yes Grandma (he hurries into shot) grandma you called
Celia: you witch! So you wanted me to squeeze out my tongue before you know that I am calling?
Obase: sorry Grandma (we see a pitiful look on both obase and cefa)
Celia: sorry for your ugly self. Will you go in and bring a seat for my friend. Oduworduwor
Cefa: ah ahcelia! Please take it easy. He’s just a child.
Celia: child k. a child that doesn’t know anything. I wonder why he’s even living
Cefa: Ah! Celia! (obase brings a bench and drops it before cefa and celia)
Celia: will you clean this bench (obase tries to move away) hey! And where do you think you’re going to?
Obase: grandma I want to get a rag to clean the bench
Celia: yayayaayayayayay! Will you use your cloth to clean this bench? After all they are no way far from rags
Cefa: (in shock) Celia?
Celia: please please
Cefa: my child! Don’t worry, go inside. I will use my hands instead. (she wipes the bench with her hands) you see! It’s not even dirty (as she seats down while obase hurries inside and celia seats alongside cefa)
Celia: so my dear friend, what brought you to my house today? (scene fades as discussion continues)
